In the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup, Namibia were 33/1 in (7) overs against Ireland at Sharjah in the Group A league match when reports last came in. Earlier, Ireland won the toss, chose to bat and set the target of 126 runs.
In the other Group A clash, Sri Lanka will face Netherlands at the same venue at 7.30 this evening.
Today’s matches will decide the fourth team that will join India, West Indies, Australia, South Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, England and New Zealand for Super-12 stage which will begin tomorrow. Sri Lanka, Scotland and Bangladesh have already made it to the Super twelves. Scotland created history when they entered second round for the first time with thumping eight wicket win over Oman yesterday.
In the first Super-12 match tomorrow, Australia will take on South Africa in in Abu Dhabi, while West Indies will clash with England in Dubai. India will play their first match with Pakistan on Sunday.
