Maharashtra: State transport bus from Nagpur washed away while crossing flooded road near Dahegaon village

In Maharashtra, a State transport bus from Nagpur was washed away this morning when the Nanded bound bus was crossing a flooded road near Dahegaon village in Yavatmal district.

Officials informed that, the bus was carrying 6 passengers, of them two were rescued and one is dead.

Efforts are on to locate the missing passengers by local Rescue Team and district administration.

Heavy rains since this morning in parts of Washim, Buldhana and Yavatmal districts of western Vidarbha have caused loss of lives and damage to crops. Many roads in the Buldhana District are water logged due to the flood like situation in the PainGanga river.
