In IPL cricket, Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Rajasthan Royals at Dubai International Cricket Stadium tthis evening. The match will start at 07.30 P.M. (IST).
In their previous games, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to Punjab Kings by five runs in a nail-biting game whereas Rajasthan Royals lost to Delhi Capitals.
Yesterday, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings advanced in their respective pools by beating their rivals. Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Mumbai Indians by 54 runs at Dubai while Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by two wickets in a last-ball thriller at Abu Dhabi.
Put into bat first, Bangalore posted a score of 165 for six in the stipulated 20 overs with help of Glenn Maxwell’s 56 off 37 balls and Virat Kohli’s 51 off 42. Chasing the victory target, Mumbai were all-out for 111 in 18.1 overs.
Earlier, in the first match yesterday, Kolkata scored 171 for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Chennai achieved the target on the last ball of the game after losing eight wickets.
