Coriander futures rise on spot demand

New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Coriander prices on Wednesday rose Rs 146 to Rs 9,652 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for January delivery went up Rs 146, or 1.54 per cent, to Rs 9,652 per quintal with an open interest of 4,105 lots.

A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI SRS RUJ RUJ
