Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur today on Wednesday reached Lucknow on a three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh as part of the BJP’s central poll team. The team under the leadership of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will discuss poll strategy with the state BJP functionaries in Lucknow and Gorakhpur during its three-day visit from today.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is accompanied by BJP vice president and UP incharge Radha Mohan Singh and seven deputies, including Union I&B Minister Anurag Thakur and three ministers of state, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Shobha Karandlaje and Annapurna Devi.
Mr. Pradhan was appointed as election -in- charge by BJP for Uttar Pradesh and will discuss the party’s electoral strategy ahead of the polls. He is also scheduled to visit Gorakhpur and Sidharth Nagar.
The team is expected to meet state BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, state general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal besides CM Yogi Adityanath and his deputies Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma along with other ministers.
